The performance of the top Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Australia during the second quarter of 2022 showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps:

Uber - Request a ride maintained its position as the leading app. Weekly downloads ranged from around 9K to 14K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a steady presence, starting at approximately 291K at the end of March and peaking at about 328K in early April, before stabilizing around 309K by the end of June.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides also showed strong performance. Weekly downloads exhibited a consistent increase, starting at 6.9K in late March and peaking at 8.4K by the end of June. Active users remained steady around 136K to 147K throughout the quarter.
